"Remember this moment. Cherish this story. Celebrate this life."
Let me craft a custom ceremony that celebrates a special choice or moment in your life. I will walk you through all the steps until we get the result we were waiting for...Your face with a huge smile!
We start with a relaxed, no obligation consultation (in person, on Skype, or via email).
Based on our initial consultation, I provide you with a basic ceremony outline and fee estimate.
We work together to create your dream ceremony using questionnaires, possible interviews, research, and so on.
Once you're happy with your ceremony, you can just sit back.
I provide a copy of the ceremony as a reference for photographers, musicians, event planners, etc.
I officiate your ceremony as approved. For weddings, legal documentation will be completed as legally required.
The initial consultation is always free. The investment of working with me depends on your preferences. I always work as hard and as fast as I can.
Oh, and I will travel just about anywhere for you. Truly.
"...People will never forget how you made them feel." - Maya Angelou
Lucky for you, that's my mission as your Life Cycle Celebrant. I want you to feel everything you hoped to feel, and more. I will guide you both through a reflective process to co-create the ceremony of your dreams. Whether it's a big family affair or a simple elopement. Your ceremony should reflect who you are as individuals and as a couple.
I respectfully welcome all backgrounds and beliefs. I am an LGTBQ ally. Love loves love!
“Birth is the epicenter of women’s power.” - Ani DiFranco
Incubating a human being is a big deal. So let's celebrate you and your baby with a blessingway.
A blessingway is a woman-centered celebration of the journey into motherhood. It is different from a baby shower in that it focuses on the femininity and power that comes through growing a baby and giving birth. The blessingway is often segmented into several ceremonies that have been adapted from the traditional Navajo’s sacred fertility rites. These ceremonies bring the women in attendance together through sharing blessings or poems for the mother, singing or chanting, and symbolic rites such as smudging the space with burnt herbs, a yarn ceremony where everyone is connected to the mother through yarn and then the yarn bracelet is worn until the baby is born, and a bead ceremony where every woman brings a bead that is strung together into a necklace or bracelet to remind the mother of all of her power and strength during labor and birth.
All shapes, sizes and styles of blessingways are possible (including co-ed). Together we can dream-up a blessingway that makes your heart and belly light up!
Life's Many Celebrations
"Life should not only be lived, it should be celebrated." -Osho
Once we recognize that life is full of moments just waiting to be celebrated, it's hard not to want to throw impromptu dance parties all the time.
Here are some other examples of moments to celebrate:
Graduations of any kind;
House-warmings & coolings;
Honouring of the maiden/mother/crone;
The possibilities are truly endless. Let's heart storm together and see what dreamy ideas we can turn into a wonderful reality for you.
